Legendary Collections will empower a variety of collector types including, but not limited to:
Novice: These individuals collect items as they come across them. They may not have a specific theme nor actively seek out specific items for their collections.
Hobbyist: Individuals who collect as a hobby. These collectors are in the beginning stages of the hobby and want to own small items without spending a lot of money. They prefer trading items with others vs. making purchases. Hobbyists will usually have more common items in their collections, i.e., items readily available for purchase or trade.
Generalist: These individuals have the money to spend on building their collections. Most of their items will have a story to tell and while the collection overall tends to be very broad, they may not have a specific focus or collection type.
Specialist: Individuals who are the opposite of generalists. Specialists focus on a limited number of very specific items and pool finances to build just those particular collections. Most serious collectors fall under this category.
Investor: These individuals acquire items specifically to hold them for long-term monetary gain. They may or may not have any special bond with the items they collect. Their specific focus is to use collected items as an investment tool.
Seller: Individuals who acquires items and turn them around for profit. Sellers tend to buy in bulk via estate sales, eBay purchases or through word of mouth. Sellers tend to simply mark collected items up in price in hopes of making a profit.
